Potato Print Easter Eggs Activity

Did you know you can use potatoes to print some pretty super Easter eggs? All you need is potatoes, a sharp knife (with a grown up to supervise), paint and paper or card. This activity is from Netmums.

First carefully cut patterns into a halved potato. We suggest that an adult does this part. You can cut lines, zig zags or any pattern you like!

If you are only going to use one colour, you can dip the potato into some paint and start printing onto your paper.

If you want to use more than one colour then use a brush to paint different sections of the potato. Then you can print onto your paper.

Well done! You now have some colourful Easter egg prints that you can use to decorate your home.
