Why Princess Charlotte won't be wearing a dress any time soon

We may have cooed over Princess Charlotte in her christening gown earlier this year, but according to netmums that may be the last time you see her in a dress for a little while.

Apparently the little princess will be sticking to more unisex romper suits and sleepsuits for the foreseeable future. Here's why.

Rachel Riley, the children's wear designer, whose clothes have already been worn by Prince George, said:

“Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll wear baby suits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses… Even in terms of separates, I don't think she'll be wearing separates until much later.”

The designer states that until Charlotte turns one next May, she will be dressed in comfy all-in-one babygrows and romper suits. This is likely to be the case until she is walking.
