How to Make Easter Nests – A Child Friendly Recipe

Easter nests are a fantastic Easter chocolate treat that the kids can get stuck into making - even very young children can help stir the mixture!

Ingredients

• 150g shredded wheat
• 150g cooking chocolate
• 50g mini eggs

Method

• Melt the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water or in the microwave (make sure the grown up does this bit)
• Once it's melted, mix the cereal with the chocolate
• Pour the mixture into bun cases
• Make a nest shape by pressing in the middle with a spoon
• Put in the fridge to set and then decorate with either little Easter chicks or little mini Easter eggs
