Made from sustainable rubberwood, this puzzle is a great way of teaching children the alphabet.

It is about 53cm (21 inches) long and 14cm (5 inches) tall.  The 26 pieces are nice and chunky, about 2 cm thick.

Age suitability: 3+ years.

Lanka Kade design these puzzles in Leicestershire but have them made in Sri Lanka where they work closely with about ten workshops employing 160 people.   The company have long been firmly committed to fair trade principles ensuring that the workers receive good rates of pay and equal opportunities and work in a safe environment.

The wood comes from rubber trees that are at the end of their latex-producing cycle.  They are felled and replaced with young trees.
