According to Wikipedia, a cyanotype is a slow-reacting, camera-less photographic printing process that produces a monochromatic Prussian blue image.
In this Djeco set, you create night scenes by exposing photographic paper to sunlight. Then you wash the paper in water and watch the design appear on the blue background - no chemicals involved. Finally touch up the pictures with the felt tips.
Contains 8 sheets of photosensitive paper (21 x 28 cm), around 100 patterns printed on plastic, 1 sheet of plexiglass and 4 coloured felt-tip pens.
Age suitability: 7 - 99 years.
