Orchard Toys Greedy Gorilla
A memory game that encourages healthy eating and good manners.
Everybody takes a playing board on which are six pictures of healthy foods.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ The food cards are placed face down on the table.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ The players then take it in turn to pick a card.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ If a player picks a card showing one of the healthy foods on his board, he places it on his board.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ If it doesn't match but it is still a healthy food, it goes back on the table face down.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ If it is an unhealthy food (on a yellow background), it is fed to the gorilla who will burp after which all players must say 'excuse me'.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ The winner is the player who fills his board first.

Orchard Toys is a Norfolk-based company designing and making their games in-house. They have been going for years and have a reputation for producing good, honest games which are both fun and educational.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ All the games are fully tested by teachers and of course by children so they are totally safe and dependable.
Most of the games are aimed at the 3-6 year olds.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ To an adult the games will inevitably seem somewhat simplistic but they really know that age group so I never have any hesitation about recommending them.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ Obviously children develop at different rates so some children may not be able to follow the instructions at first but that doesn't seem to matter as they enjoy playing with the colourful cards.ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ As the child develops, it isn't long before they fully appreciate the game and they benefit from the educational aspects whilst enjoying themselves.

Three options:
1) Postage by Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service which aims to deliver parcels in two working days. Our post office is shut on Mondays and Sundays, so we don't ship on those days.
2) Evri delivery to one of their parcel shops. Please use this service if you are not going to be in to meet the postie or you have not got a safe place for the postie to leave your parcel.
3) Pick up from our shop in Lyme Regis. Free but please give us a couple of hours after ordering before coming in.
We try to reuse as much packaging as possible. Your parcel will be securely packed but probably not very elegantly.
In theory, everything available to buy on this website is in stock. We are however a very small shop and we try to stock a huge range. This means that we will rarely have more than one or two of each toy or clothes size in stock. Occasionally though we do get orders and we can't find the items. Often it is my fault, having I made a mistake when checking goods on arrival into the shop or when stocktaking but sadly we are also noticing more items simply missing from the shelves.
So please accept our apologies if you order something and we can't fulfil your order. The website is set up so that we don't actually take your money until after we fulfil your order. You will not pay for anything we don't have.
